Starting our Journey

After knowing that we wanted to be together, we decided that we wanted to start a family, and knowing that adoption was our best route as a same sex couple, we began to research and reach out to all of the resources we could find. We did not come to this decision lightly but after deep thoght and converstaions, years of contemplating when it was right, we decided that it was time, and we were ready to take on this new challenge. We knew it would be a long road, and that there would be stumbles along the way. Our commitment remains steadfast though. We know we can provide a loving and stable home for child that is filled with love and acceptance no matter the circumstances that bring our child to us.
